The article explores the reasons underlying the attempts to falsify the events of the Great Patriotic War, the possible negative consequences of this activity, carried out the connection between the drop in the culture of the young generation and uncritical acceptance of these people outright distortion of history, is considered an objective need for the creation of books, films, publications, based on real-time reporting the facts set out without falsification, and political affiliation.

In the article the author examines conceptual approaches to public policy in the area of national security.
