Abstract
The article discusses the role of regional authorities in ensuring military security. This occurs through the analysis of normative acts partially affecting the regional segment of military security. The author comes to the conclusion that the powers and functions of Executive authorities in the sphere of military security partially duplicated, do not contain specifics, in other words are declarative.
