Abstract
The article discusses the following problems of determining the criteria for effective management of regional youth policy: the vagueness of the formulation of the goals and objectives of youth policy; range of activities of regional bodies and municipal institutions of youth policy; youth as a socio-demographic group, which is a very complex education; The effectiveness of youth policy management is assessed from the point of view of the customer the municipality, federal and regional authorities. But the evaluation of the effectiveness of the management of regional youth policy by young people is rarely taken into account.
