Abstract
In the article the basic tendencies of development of the regional banking system in crisis, its strengths and weaknesses, the predicted level of investment attractiveness of Russian regional banks, as well as identified the most attractive segments of the credit market, on the basis of which the conclusion about the necessity of modernization of tools and methods to assess the regional banking systems.
