Abstract

The traditional interpretation of the culture of the people as the dependent variable of the economic and political circumstances, the authors contrast the view of culture, which, once formed, is beginning to act as a relatively independent variable among the factors of social life. It determines the way societies respond to innovation. Social and cultural foundation of today's Russia are communitarian. Therefore, the agenda is not just a way out of the next crisis, not only innovation and modernization breakthrough, but (and this is important) the creation of a moral economy as a new type of management of spiritual man and society as a guarantor of any real positive social transformations.
