Abstract
The purpose of this article is to provide practical recommendations concerning human resources management in the civil service in order to improve government effectiveness and efficiency. The article presents the results of the staff audit bodies of the Government of Sverdlovsk region in 2014, the proposed recommendations, the implementation of which will increase the efficiency of the organization of the work of the staff of the public authorities.
