In the article the authors study the role and influence of sports and sporting events on the level of national security. Various concepts of sports influence on state development are noted, sports are analyzed as a tool of political influence and a means of overcoming modern conflicts. As a practical example, the sphere of national security during the 2018 FIFA world Cup is analyzed, as well as various examples of international cooperation in the framework of sports events are considered.

The article analyzes the direction changes of the identity of ethnic groups in the South of Russia, studied the process of revival of ethnic identity in Russia, discusses the ethnic tension rating of Russian regions, explored the causes of ethnic conflicts and clashes, is considered the ethnic structure of the region. Conclusions about possible directions and prospects of development of interethnic tension in the regions of the Russian Federation. Article is executed within an internal grant of SFU № ВнГр-07/2017-22 "Transconflict regions as a phenomenon of the geopolitical competition: social risks and resources of adaptation to humanitarian calls".

In the article problems of a corruption and bureaucratic conflictogenuity of the public and municipal administration are considered. It is noted that the bureaucratization of a control system promotes increase of corruptibility, some measures for rationalization Russian to bureaucracy and decrease in corruption are proposed.

The article analyzes the main forms of cooperation of the Armenian community of Rostov-on-don and bodies of local self-government, examines the activities of local authorities, public organizations, and national diasporas, the ways and mechanisms for strengthening inter-ethnic and mediacollege consent in the city. Conclusions about the trends and prospects of resolution of problems of interaction of national diasporas and local authorities, and suggests some activities that contribute to building a constructive dialogue between them.
