Abstract
This article examines the role of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the international business development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the modern world. The COVID-19 pandemic had forced managers of SME organizations to adapt quickly to new business conditions by adaptation of new technologies and changing internal and external business processes. The article analyzes the key factors of integration ICT that influence the transformation of the way business is conducted in global markets. The specifics of ICT implementation in various areas of small and medium-sized businesses are described. The most significant challenges of digital transformation of SME business have been identified. The study highlights the importance of addressing these issues in increasing the competitiveness and innovation capacity of SMEs in the global economy.
