Abstract

This article analyzes the development of the Russian model of continuing education and its characteristic features. The process of transformation of the system of continuing education in the context of the transition to a national education system in modern Russia is also analyzed. The problems of the previous system of continuing education are considered. The factors influencing the modern Russian system of continuing education as a whole are also analyzed. The existing problem field that arose during the reforms in the field of continuing education is considered. The strategic directions of the development of models for the implementation of the principle of continuing education in modern realities are characterized. The analysis of the existing regulatory framework in the field of continuing education is also carried out and recommendations for its improvement are given. The long-term problems that can have a negative impact on the formation of the national system of continuing education are shown and analyzed.
