DETERMINATION OF THE HORIZON FOR PLANNING SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF PROBLEM REGIONS

Abstract

The transformations that have taken place in the country's socio-economic system in recent years give some hope for further economic development. At the same time, many intractable problems of the development of the regions of the Russian Federation, which are organizational, managerial, economic, political and social, persist. The subjects of the Russian Federation differ in most of the key socio-economic indicators. Over the past decades, interregional differentiation, due to the influence of various factors, has significantly increased. The current situation testifies to the absence in the state of the developed and ready-to-use effective mechanisms aimed at influencing the economic growth of regions and reducing their differentiation, based on existing development problems. At the same time, it is very important to define priorities and directions that take into account the territorial specifics and specifics for achieving economic and social parameters for the development of problem regions.
