Abstract
The article shows the necessity of professional competence growth for the specialists in the field of national economy, it emphasizes some competences important for the higher professional level of the specialist. The article demonstrates the connection between professional images of students and qualities assisting to form professionally competent specialist. The authors analyze professional images of students' future professional activities.
