Abstract
The article examines the trends in the formation of the state policy of regional social and economic development aimed at implementing infrastructure projects in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, creating conditions that stimulate investment activity and public initiatives in the context of preparations for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
