Abstract
In the article the confessional processes in multicultural region are considered on the basis of sociological research conducted in the Rostov region. The author describes the conflictogenic potential of interfaith interaction and offers the alternatives of its measurement in the course of educational activities. The article is supported by the Russian humanitarian scientific fund, the project No. 16-03-00545 "Institutional practicians in interethnic and interfaith interaction in the South of Russia: the cross-disciplinary analysis and assessment of the potential of its use in strengthening of the all-Russian identity".
