Abstract
Control and audit bodies are the members of the Strategic Planning process. The article deals with issues of external state financial control of the implementation of regional strategic planning documents. Among the tasks of monitoring evaluation of the efficiency and effectiveness of decisions taken in the strategic planning process. According to the results of monitoring are formed proposals to improve the effectiveness of the strategic planning system. The author analyzes the problems of assessing the effectiveness of public administration in accordance with the principles established by the Federal Law on strategic planning.
