Abstract

The article analyses the formation of the modern concept of cultural typology as a fundamental methodological problem of the modern philosophy of culture. The paper presents the selection criteria and a set of major indicators of the concept of modern cultural typology. The author brings forward the arguments for creating cognitive typology of culture.
