The article examines the political content of dialogue mechanisms between public authorities and ethnic, religious civil society institutions in the North Caucasus Federal District. The author provide evidences for political actualization of dialogue between the authorities and civil society and ethnocultural model of communication. As a result, ethnic and cultural patterns and mechanisms of dialogue were systematized and grouped.
