The article is devoted to the consideration of civil society as a subject of political innovations. The author notes that civil society in Russia is an actor in the development of democratic institutions that implement the principles of the rule of law. Civil society institutions are able to exercise civil control over the activities of political power and ensure the country's innovative development in the 21st century.
