In article questions of development of socially oriented non-profit organizations in Europe on the example of Great Britain, Germany and Sweden are considered. The main stages of development of socially oriented non-profit organizations in these countries are described. The legal and economic instruments of support of activity of socially oriented non-profit organizations used the European countries are characterized.
