The article considers and analyzes the phenomenon of political management as a reflection of the non-classical type of scientific rationality and the non-classical paradigm of political management. The interdisciplinary nature of political management, the possibilities and limitations of its application in political management in the aspect of transformation of its manipulative essence in the direction of mediation and coordination of interaction of political actors are revealed.

In this article, the author refers to the identification of specific features of the Russian national mentality in the overall context of the organization of political governance in modern Russia. The author focuses on the impact of the mental attitudes of the Russian nation for political control, emphasizes the importance of national mentality to provide political control values. There is a special significance of collectivist values of the Russian national mentality on the political management of the modern Russian state.
