The article examines key aspects that characterize the development of the Russian labor market during the crisis period 2008-2009. As well as post-crisis 2010-2011. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of activities to reduce tensions on the labor market.

The article deals with the complicated demographic processes and the situation with demography. It also deals with the correlative aspects of the demographic policy in modern Russia, their reflection in social and political life of the society.
