The article discusses the main ideas about the essence of the phenomenon of globalization on the part of scientific communities, conventionally designated as “pessimistic researchers”, “optimistic researchers” and “realists”. The main problem of the phenomenon of globalization is considered contradiction. It notes the role in understanding and overcoming the global contradictions of the special sphere of interdisciplinary knowledge about the integrity of the world and global processes globalistics and its ability to offer alternative globalization models, within the framework of which there will be a change in the fundamental attitudes of the organization of social life at the level of mass social existence.

The article considers problems of formation of small business in the Russian Federation, as well as the data of sociological research the problem of small business identified in the Rostov region. The author analyzes the work of the party of small business, the results of its operations, problems functioning, and also experience of the organization in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

The article is devoted to the gender dimension of power relations in modern Russia. The article provides an empirical analysis of gender power relations in modern Russia, also attempts to assess the methodological possibilities of gender analysis in General: whether it is independent or complements the overall socio-political methodological paradigm.
