Digital transformations are considered by researchers as the most important factor in the sustainable development of industry. The purpose of this article is to analyze the impact of digital technologies on the sustainability of industrial development, characterized by the corresponding growth index. The object of the analysis was the regions on the territory of which the million-plus cities are located. Correlation and regression analysis, descriptive statistics and graphoanalytic analysis were used as research methods. The results of the study showed a low correlation of indicators of the use of digital technologies on the pace of industrial development. It is most evident for ERP systems, artificial intelligence and cloud technologies. The types of regions are identified depending on the ratio of the level of digital technologies used and the industrial development index. It is concluded that the effects of the introduction of digital technologies in the context of achieving sustainable development objectives will manifest themselves only in the presence of favorable institutional and organizational and managerial conditions.

The article is devoted to the study of problems of stimulating business and social initiatives of the population based on the use of modern information technologies. It was found that the existing information space of the system of collective interactions is characterized by a high degree of "dispersion" of information on individual sites. The format of "presentation" of initiated projects is low-effective. This is a constraint on the development of business and social initiatives. The solution to these problems is proposed on the basis of combining information flows within a single information platform. The article suggests the design of this platform. Its functionality allows not only to stimulate business and social initiatives, but also to allow local authorities to get information about the social attitudes of citizens.

The article is devoted to the role and place of smart monitoring of water bodies in the system of regional management in the conditions of Informatization and digitalization of the economy. Monitoring of water resources should be smart, that is, it should be not only and not so much ecological, as ecological-economic and informational in nature and be based on the use of smart technologies that can provide opportunities for rapid collection, quality processing and effective use of a large array of data. For the purpose of regional strategizing it is offered to use the indicators characterizing extensive and intensive use of water resources. The combination of these indicators allows to obtain a dynamic portrait of the territory in order to improve the management of its water bodies.

The article deals with contemporary problems of urban infrastructure development sector. To attract private investment in municipal infrastructure projects to upgrade the municipal education are encouraged to use the concession mechanism. Proposed system of indicators to measure the effectiveness of the concession project, which can be used for the competitive selection of concessionaires.
