The article is devoted to the analysis of the outcomes of socio-economic development of the Russian economy in 2013-2014 and the formation scenario of the main parameters of the forecast of socio-economic development of the Russian Federation for the period 2016-2018. Special attention is paid to the identification of factors in the development of socio-economic conditions in 2015, and consideration as the primary means of ensuring economic growth of investments in fixed capital. As a result, a number of activities supporting the transition of the Russian economy on an accelerated path of innovative development.
