This article considers the main vectors of transformation of the Russian nation-state identity through the prism of content changes and threats to the national security of Russia. The authors analyze the state of patriotic orientations of modern Russian citizens, their attitude towards the state, defining the nature of the nation-state identity. And, depending on this, minimizing or maximizing the degree of internal threats to national security.

The article examines methodological aspects of studying of national-state identity in modern politology, analyzes new tendencies in identity researches, that resulted in forming a particular diversity of macropolitical approach or “global consrtuctivism”. Within the framework of the given scientific direction the problem of national-state identity is considered in the context of correlation of the last one with the phenomenon of informational service civilization, with the processes of political, informational and social-cultural globalization at the beginning of XXI century.
