Modern methods for preparing forecasts and plans for the strategic development of regions are based on the use of foresight technologies. This technology allows not only to involve all stakeholders in the forecasting process, to ensure the quality of management decision-making, but also to consolidate the efforts of civil society participants. Testing technology foresight on the example of choosing a concept for a business forum for entrepreneurs of different scales of activity showed the possibility of choosing a priority solution taking into account the opinion of managers and specialists from organizations responsible for supporting small and medium-sized businesses and managers of business structures.

Process of choice, justification and implementation of a strategy of organization development is characterized by such attributes of a project as novelty, uniqueness, limitation in time period, aim and measurability of the final result, therefore the project methodology of strategic development increases the efficiency of the organization management and extends its life cycle.
